He is an orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained at the University of Tennessee in Hand Surgery.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and has been awarded a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.
Dr. Young completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver with rotations through Denver HealthMedical Center and the Children’s Hospital.
His specialties include Hand/Upper Extremity and General Orthopedics.
He has undergone additional training at Johns Hopkins to learn the technique of mini-incision hip replacement. His previous appointments include Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Center at the Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City.
